CLIB International Conference 2014

november 18, 2014

Now heading towards it‘s fifth year, the CLIB International Conference 2014 will be themed “Bioeconomy enters industrial practice“. This year’s conference is organized in cooperation with BE-BASIC and Vito.

The conference will discuss aspects of the emerging value chains that are currently in focus of the European Horizon2020 program, for example in the public private partnerships BBI & SPIRE. These value chains are also addressed by the BIG-C initiative of Flanders, the Netherlands and North Rhine-Westphalia:

– From lignocellulosic feedstock to bio-based chemicals
– CO2 and exhaust gases to chemicals
– The next generation agro-based value chains
– New value chains from organic side streams

These emerging bioeconomy value chains present promising options to create new processes, products and investment opportunities. To establish these in industrial practice, it needs a multidisciplinary and multinational discussion, leading to broad international cooperation.

At CIC2014 we want to shed light on these questions to help you taking the right decisions for your research efforts, your business chances or your investment ideas.
