BIG-C, the Bio Innovation Growth mega Cluster is the cross-border Smart Specialization initiative of the Belgium region of Flanders, The Netherlands and the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It aims at transforming Europe’s industrial mega-cluster into the global leader of biobased innovation growth and a pioneer of a resource efficient, circular economy.

This event informs about BIG-C’s concept how to make our mega cluster fit for the bioeconomy building on existing strengths. Stakeholders from industry, academia, regional organisations, pilot facilities, public private partnerships and politics are invited to discuss strategies to renewable value chains in our mega-cluster.
