The Dutch Chemical and Biotech sector was once again very well represented. A large, eye-catching, booth in which 14 Dutch organisations and companies presented themselves drew much attention. Promising business contacts have been established and opportunities to explore further cooperation will be the next step.

Biobased Delta

A formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between both Biobased Delta and Bioindustrial Innovation Canada was signed at the Holland Pavilion. The MOU calls for collaboration on such areas as pyrolysis, chemicals from sugars and lignin-based materials.

Holland Reception

The Holland Reception and the raffle-off of the Rabobank ‘Granny-Bike’ by Karin Weustink, dep. Director Biobased Economy of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, added extra value for the participants in the booth as well as the attendees.
