BE-Basic, TU Delft Biotechnology and the BPF share a booth at EFIB 2015

BE-Basic Foundation, TU Delft Biotechnology and the Bioprocess Pilot Facility shared a booth at EFIB 2015, which took place 27-29 October 2015 in Brussels. Among the speakers were Waldemar Kutt (Head of Unit “Biobased Products and Processing”, DG Research and Innovation European Commission) and Tjerk de Ruijter (CEO Corbion).
Luuk van der Wielen (Director of the Board, BE-Basic Foundation) chaired the Innovation Track New Processes showcase, in which promising innovations were presented, such as the latest developments of the Redefinery Project: an initiative by several industrial clusters for which BE-Basic Foundation delivers the technological knowledge.
EFIB is established as the largest conference in Europe for the biobased market, bringing together business, policy and research. This year, EFIB had an attendance of over 650 professionals from nearly 30 different countries. The next EFIB conference will be the ninth edition and takes place 18-20 October 2016 in Glasgow, Scotland.
