We are proud to announce that the Biobased Industries Consortium (BIC) has accepted the BE-Basic Foundation SME Cluster as representative of all BE-Basic Foundation SME members.

BIC is a unique cross sector association representing the private sector partners in the Public Private Partnership (PPP) on Biobased Industries with the EU.

BRIDGE, which stands for ‘Biobased and Renewable Industries for Development and Growth in Europe,’ refers to the joint entity that will be established to carry out the projects over the period 2014-2020.

The European Commission has officially proposed the new Biobased Industries PPP on 10 July, as part of its Innovation and Investment Package.
