The São Paulo Research Foundation – FAPESP funds the project entitled “Contribution to the production of bioenergy from Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa (GSB-LACAf-Cane-I)”. This project is currently offering five postdoctoral positions, based at the Interdisciplinary Centre of Energy Planning (NIPE), UNICAMP (a key partner of BE-Basic Brazil, as is FAPESP).

The duration of the fellowships will be 24 months. The core of the project is to evaluate the possibilities of Latin America and African countries to produce ethanol fuel on a sustainable basis without affecting food security.
