BIG-C, the BIO-Innovation Growth mega-Cluster, is the cross border Smart Specialization Initiative of the Belgian region of Flanders, the Netherlands, and the German state of North Rhine Westphalia (NRW). It aims to transform this mega-cluster into the global leader of bio-based innovation growth and a pioneer of a resource-efficient, circular economy.
